CRIMINAL JUSTICE TRAUMA INSTITUTE

The Criminal Justice Trauma Institute (CJTI) was established to make significant contributions to criminal justice systems by providing mental/behavior health consultation, research, information dissemination, training and services with a primary focus on persons (women, men, juveniles and their families) affected by the criminal justice system in any capacity. The principles are recognized as authorities in mental/behavioral health, corrections planning, evaluation, management and operations.

CJTI is comprised of diverse and uniquely qualified industry professionals to include: criminal justice consultants, mental health clinicians, social workers, educators, physicians, trainers, analysts and researchers from across the country. With more than 20 years of combined experience in criminal justice and behavioral health services, CJTI is dedicated to providing those services essential to improving the quality of life for persons who have been directly or indirectly affected by traumatic experiences.

CJTI’s Mission is to empower and improve the quality of life for persons impacted by (trauma/crime) and the criminal justice system by collaborating with vested stakeholders to create effective service delivery, influence policy change and promote professional awareness.
